After 12 years together Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are splitting up. We take a look at the houses they’ve called home during their time together.
Jolie filed for divorce overnight in the US, bringing an end to the Brangelina era, but speculation has just only just begun on how they might divide up their extensive property portfolio.

This lavish property in Le Val, southeastern France has been their European home. It includes a vineyard plus almost 5,000 hectares of lush green space.
The couple bought the estate for an estimated $US60 million in 2012 from US businessman Tom Bove.
The lush grounds.
Parts of the historic mansion date back to the 17th century and the grounds also include an olive grove, private lake and a moat.
Just imagine the games of hide and seek that could be played here.
Their American life
The couple’s primary residence has been a sprawling compound in Los Feliz, California.
Reportedly purchased in 1994 for $US1.4 million by Pitt, the five-bedroom residence is situated on a 492sqm block.
The couple has added to the property over the years, with new smaller houses built around the perimeter.
With pools, decking and plenty of secluded spots on the estate, the children have had plenty of space to play.
The London rental
It can be hard for any family to adapt to the London property market, especially with six children.
So when the couple decided to move to the UK while Pitt filmed Netflix’s War Machine, Brangelina opted to live in nearby Surrey instead.
The rent for this eight-bedroom mansion reportedly cost around $US21,000 a month. But it was just a 35-minute boat ride up the Thames from where Pitt’s pal George Clooney lives with his wife Amal.
With indoor and outdoor pools, a cinema, a spa and a dedicated room for snooker, this family-friendly home has plenty of entertainment options.
The stately Louisiana base
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s house in New Orleans is currently on the market.
While the couple did spend a lot of time in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Brad and Ange have seemingly lost interest in this stunning stately home in the heart of the French District.
This 1860s mansion which was once was a passion project for Pitt, has been on the market since late 2015.
According to Forbes, the actor added Venetian-plastered walls, custom marble mantles and fireplaces, crown moldings, a grand spiral staircase, elevator, private spacious patio with pool, gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances and a laundry room.

Pitt has dabbled in architecture and design over the years, he says the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and Charles Rennie Mackintosh changed his life.
He’s designed furniture, helped design a hotel in Dubai and set up an affordable housing project to help the residents of New Orleans after the hurricane.
The Louisiana house is currently on the market for just over $US1 million.
The Santa Barbara getaway

Renowned for their passion for the environment and humanitarian causes, the couple purchased this $US5 million coastal ranch on pristine land back in 2000 for $US4 million.
The family was seen from time to time on dune buggies tearing up and down the beach as the kids let off steam.
Sitting next to the Gaviota State Park on the Pacific Ocean, the ranch has been the perfect getaway for when the couple took a much-needed break.
